teaming with history
The name “Devil Pups” is derived from the Marine Corps history going back to WWI and the 1918 battle of Belleau Wood in France. The Marine Corps fought heroically for a month against the German offensive by relentlessly charging the front lines. The Germans started referring to the Marines as “TeufelsHunde” or Devil Hounds because they just never quit. The media modified the term to what it is today; Devil Dogs. It is in this spirit that Devil Pups was named and Devil Pups Never Quit.
To have a powerful, positive impact on the quality of life of young men and women in the community by educating and training them in their citizenship, moral and ethical responsibilities as they grow into adulthood.
